Dr. Aihua Xie, a faculty member in the Department of Physics at OSU, will be presenting a lecture titled "How to Detect Mutation-Induced Changes in Protein Structures Using FTIR Spectroscopy." This talk will explore the innovative application of FTIR spectroscopy in identifying alterations in protein structures caused by genetic mutations.
