The OSU Alumni Association and Pistol Pete present the official OSU class rings to new ring recipients at two ceremonies at the ends the fall and spring semesters. Participants also participate in the Orange Splash tradition at each ceremony.

Ring ceremonies are free and open to the public for families and guests to attend.

Ring recipients must preregister to participate in a ceremony, and only individuals who have purchased an official OSU class ring from Jostens may participate.
