A day of interactive sessions designed to prepare new graduate teaching assistants for success in the classroom. Led by experts from ITLE and Academic Affairs, the conference covers evidence-based teaching strategies, student support practices, and ways to enhance student motivation and engagement. The program equips participants with practical tools and insights to confidently begin their teaching journey at OSU.

This conference is strongly recommended and prioritized for first-year GTAs. While all GTAs are welcome to attend, space is limited to 200 participants. Priority will be given to those in their first year of teaching at OSU. Registration closes on July 30th, or when capacity is reached. Early registration is encouraged to ensure your spot.
