Introduction to County Assessor's Office (18 hours) This unit is the first required course for the employees of the County Assessor's office that value property, including the Assessor and Deputy. Students are taught how an appraisal program should be managed and administered. Different types of property value are covered with emphasis on the definition of market value and the difference between market value and market price. The appraisal process is covered in this course to include a comprehensive study of the three approaches to value.
